TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. A once-off cleaning fee of R650 will be charged with every booking, for cleaning and linen services before arrival and after departure.

  2. A breakage deposit of R500 will be charged with every booking. Refund of breakage deposit will be done within 3 days of departure if all is in order and no damages was caused to the unit, or the complex common areas. Kindly provide us with your banking details.

  3. 50% Deposit is due upon acceptance to secure the booking. Balance will be payable 7 days before check-in. For bookings longer than 3 days we require a 20% deposit.

  4. Check-in time: after 2pm. Check-out time: Strictly 9am.

  5. Towels are not provided. Please bring own towels. All other linen, pillows and extra blankets will be provided.

  6. Strictly no rental of accommodation to persons under 21 unless accompanied by an adult over 21 for the entire stay.

  7. Occupants shall leave the unit in the same state of general order in which it was found. Stains on linen will be deducted from the damaged deposit, as it will require us to use extra cleaning services to get the unit ready for the next guests.

  8. Occupants must notify the Owner within 12 hours of check-in with regards to any broken items on the inventory. Failure to do so will result in the Occupant taking full responsibility for all items in the unit.

  9. NO OVERCROWDING -The unit is strictly limited to a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children. Exceeding the number of stated occupants will result in immediate eviction without refund.

  10. NO smoking is allowed in the unit.

  11. NO loud music in the complex. Silence must be maintained in the complex between 22h00 – 06h00.

  12. NO pets are allowed in the unit.

  13. NO littering in the complex or in any common areas. This includes, cigarette butts, food scraps or any other litter whatsoever

  14. NO bottles or glasses are allowed in the pool area.

  15. No fishing bait allowed to be kept in fridges inside the unit. Please make use of a cooler box.

  16. No cleaning of fish inside the unit. Please use facilities provided at the Ski Boat Club.

  17. Should any damaged be caused in the unit or in the complex by the Occupant, the Occupant will be held 100% responsible for all costs to repair or replace damaged items.

  18. No open fires are permitted on the unit’s veranda or any other area other than the braai facilities provided.

  19. Cancellations 4-7 weeks from occupation date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.

  20. Cancellations 0 -3 weeks from occupation date, 0% of the deposit will be refunded.

  21. FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE: The Owner(s) of ONE Summer Place shall not be held responsible for any circumstances beyond the control of ONE Summer Place including, without limitation, acts of God, acts of Government, wars, riots, strikes, or other labour stoppages or shortages or other causes beyond the control of The Owner(s).
